Stay at a real, working lighthouse! Bed, breakfast and evening meal in our unique home. Built in 1912 by David A Stevenson, Rua Reidh Lighthouse, near Gairloch, stands at the entrance to Loch Ewe, at one of the most dramatic and remote locations on the north-west coast of Scotland, with breath-taking views across the Minch to the Isle of Skye, the Shiant Isles and the Outer Hebrides. Owners Roger and Tracy McLachlan offer bed, breakfast and evening meal in their unique and gloriously remote home, or a three-bedroom self-catering flat available for weekly lets. The lighthouse is not open to the public, but visitors are welcome to park at the public car park at Melvaig and take a walk to enjoy the fabulous scenery.
